Here is my thread when I made some glass tops. It goes into some details of glass cutting. I also custom made a wet/dry for my 250 from glass. (the lids for that one too.)

I couldn't cut glass either until I researched it a bunch. Then after I too bought a new cutter, I was cutting like a pro Now I keep my eyes pealed for free glass. (Sliding glass doors are mostly tempered. I found some old ones that weren't).

I just read youre walk-through on DIY glass cutting and i think it was very well written and gave a lot of us hopes of being able to cut glass succesfully.
