can i use lead to hold down driftwood

I seen that tank listed on craigslist. Didn't know it came with a stand too. If I might ask have you water tested it the ad implied it was for reptiles..?

Yep. I actually do recall that they once used lead strips for holding down plants. I always wondered about it then. That was back in the days when we were still using lead-based paints.
 
i dont think i am going to use the lead. i will find something to use.
the tank is off craiglist. i made the stand. i think it is a 350 gal tank. i am filling it up now. i will have more pic later.

I have to agree with the Zander, that tank is truly one of a kind and will be a terrific showpiece. Good call on the Craigs List buy.

Just a few questions though. Where is it going to be kept? Will it remain in the garage? A tank room of it's own ? Is this going into your house? If so, how does it fit through the doors? How is it going to be stocked?
