For ick, treat with salt and heat, as indicated here:

Also, try and figure out why the fish has ich, so that a re-infestation of this parasite can be avoided. Do you quarantine new additions? Feed live "feeders" without quarantine? What is the temperature in your tank?

Water clarifier is fine, but it would be better to figure out why the water is cloudy. If you'll answer these questions, I think we can figure it out. That will be cheaper than dumping in chemicals!
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels?
What type of filtration are you running?
What size tank, and what fish are in it?
What are you feeding?
Is the tank near a window/getting a lot of natural light?
How long are you leaving the lights on?

Sorry for so many questions, but I'm a firm believer in fixing the root of the problem, rather than taking what may seem to be the "easy" way out, only to find that you're hurting your fish or wasting your money!

no do not use meds on gar they don't work well. i'll post a more detailed response later as im in a rush on tour. just salt and heat and clean water. gd luck

if you have any skin fish salt is out.

I found some organic stuff I used recently more to treat my TSN with 2 gars in the tank.

^^ This! Fix problem first, then treat symptoms. Water clarifier is like putting on Band-Aids if you keep cutting yourself...stop cutting yourself and you won't have to worry...

are you sure your gar has ich? usually a gar with ich is a dead gar...since they very very RARELY actually get ich. if you can photograph it and show us that would be best.

if your other fish have it (clown loaches are notorious for this) then quarantine them and treat them. as far as gars are concerned the best general treatment for ailments is temp to 82F, 1tbsp salt per 20g water, and 50% water changes every other day until symptoms disappear. this usually works on 90% of gar sicknesses (and they don't get sick often).

if you must use quick cure on the clown loaches and absolutely can't separate them from the gars, then it's fine to treat them in the same tank (although i would recommend the increase in temp plus salt as well).

general rule of thumb is no antibiotics with gars unless everything else has failed (and even then there are just a few you should risk using). hope that helps--
