Can I use these stock tanks for cats?

thanks guys. I posted two threads because I wanted to know if any of the catfish lovers had tried this and on the setup filtration to see if anyone over there has tried it.

Cliff, rubbermaid makes up to a 300 gallon and they are all too deep and not long. Some galvanize ones are perfect, they are 6 feet long and 2 ft wide and 2 deep. I'll look at aquaticeco or put some pond liner in them just to be on the safe side.

i wouldn't use the paint as the walls of that container can flew a little and may cause it to chip or flake. then u have u'r fish eating paint and the nickel still leaches. pond liner is the way to go for sure.

I want to use a galvanized stock tank for a fish pond. What kind of filter and pump do I need. Also should I scrub the tank before I put water in it? This is my first attempt at making a fish pond.
