????
I want to get some baby silver arowanas but i have a 7in. sen bichir .
Can it work or no?

i think it could since bichirs are on the ground and aros on the top

no it wont work b/c your getting some silver aro,the aros will fight each other but if you get 1 silver then it would work with the bichir

even for a group of 6? I was thinking to grow them out and selling them but i love my bichir and don't want to get rid of it

they might fight but you can give it a shot

i will probably try it or put more aros in but i mainly concern with the arowanas with the 7 in. sen bichir

What size tank? Generally it is best for baby aros to be without tankmates until the 5-6" range, the bichir may not pose a problem but best to be safe. There seems to be this misconception that 5 or more baby aros will work, it did not work for me an there are many instances here on MFK that it has not worked. With pair you have about a 1 in three chance, myself I have 5 attempts resulting in 3fails, 1 success and 1 yet to be decided.

Best thing with keeping multiple aros is to have the means to separate them instantly if needed.

mm i see well the tank is a 60g and is only a grow out for them. I will get rid of them after they reach about 5inches. I also remember 3 is better then a pair so maybe i will just get 3 to grow out. And i will also buy some tank dividers if they start to fight :D

If you don't have a tank to house them than I would say forget it.
