mm i see well the tank is a 60g and is only a grow out for them. I will get rid of them after they reach about 5inches. I also remember 3 is better then a pair so maybe i will just get 3 to grow out. And i will also buy some tank dividers if they start to fight :D

My suggestion, buy two and a divider. If they co-hab...great, if not separate and raise individually. Baby aros are a risky fish to raise as it is, just search the aro forum here on MFK. There are many more failures then successes, so get experience raising one or two before attempting a bunch of them.

i raised one from 5in. to 15in. but recently died when it jumped out but this time secure the top better and that won't happen again

Big fish are harder to rehome than most people think. The size you could grow them to in a 60 won't be worth that much more than what you bought it for

i sell to my local pet shop

Ok so if you for sure have buyers lines up I say try 2 at a time and have a divider ready

I want to get some baby silver arowanas but i have a 7in. sen bichir .
Can it work or no?
yes they will be great feeders. im glad your deciding against goldfish as they are nutritionally poor.

jk depends on the size and individual bichir

I only say yes if the aro's are already 6-7+ inches long and your fish store are for sure buying them

I would say no.

From my experience, when I bought my juvi silver arowana, its stressed and didnt stay on top of the tank until 3-4 days. It was constantly harrassed by my albino bichirs and had his fins nipped quite abit (Gladly the fins recovered). Now they are friends.

Your bichir is abit too big on size to house baby arowanas, or I think keep them at a size that the bichir cant swallow. Me thinks a 7" bichir will make baby aros into a great snack.

i bet they eat the bichir in under 6 mths
