F1 is talking about over turbulent current not volume. Size vs flow rate . Obviously more volume will never hurt.

for me it's a matter of being practical and efficient, not doing it just because i can. i don't think it's practical to go way overboard
I have 5, but 3 on one tank. Wires still messy this tank has only been runnin for 3 days, still have to inst the 40watt uv , ph/tds/temp monitor/controller and upgrade The sumps pondmaster 12 pump. Currently around 20x turnover rate
