Thanks for the comments. I'm not concerned about the fish eating toads, just the tadpoles.
Have tried dettol in the past and while it kills toads, once sprayed they make a bee-line for the nearest water which happens to be my pond. Had some sleepless nights worrying that my fish would die of dettol poisoning.
Pretty sure the jack will be fine. He doesn't bother the jungle perch or snakehead gudgeon and there is enough room for them to spread out.
The bass is about 15cm at the moment, will give him another 2 weeks. Next problem will be getting him off live food. Hoping when he's in the pond and sees the other fish eating cut fish and prawns that he'll get the idea.
