can RBPs go solo?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've seen reds by themselves although they are by nature a pack fish, in captivity they can successfully be kept alone it might not be as exciting though. Anyway 55 gallons is just fine . . . have fun

well, as soon as I can get my mother on board with having a piranha...

a 29 or so would sufficenfor one rbp, a solo red doesnt move around that much, but I guess its the thought that couts with a 55.

you may be right to hide it to. when I was younger I got my first pit bull and told my parents it was a lab mix, then they fell in love with him. I dont recomend deception, but sometimes it is the only way to beat a stupid stereotype (ie pitbulls kill people)

Goodluck
