can saratoga go in a 6ftx2ft tank??

they will get bigger than 2 feet...even in captivity...
but it will last a long long long time.

180 is good for a very long time, but you'll have very limited success with tank mates.

my lfs has a saratoga in a 6x2x2.5 it was in a 7x2x2.5 but the front panel burst off one day, and poor syd (the saratoga) was on the floor. syd is about 30 years old and a bit over 2 foot long and is by himself, he doesn't let anything else into his tank. he eats about half a packet of frozen bloodworms a day as a staple and also eats adult yabbies and big goldfish, as well as some other fish that are being culled (they breed alot of cichlids themselves at my lfs). ive stuck my hand in his tank and he didnt like it he tried to jump but there is lots of bags of gravel weighing the lids down.
