It is very unlikely that a female flowerhorn will grow a hump but it is possible. Your female isn't bad quality. I think its okay. It's not ugly or low grade.. just not very high in flowerhorn standards.

Females can grow humps but yours won't, it all comes down to genetics.

Females are judged different than males, and assuming yours is a female I would say yours is of average quality. Better that some but not great. She has a nice amount of red and a double flowerline which is good, a decent female for breeding.

Don't let these people bring you down. People on this subsection are very pessimistic and critical of fish. You don't want to spend hundreds on a fish that these people rate as high quality. It's not worth the money. I like your fish, it looks nice.

man! why is it always troll central nowadays here. everyone is entitled to a freaking opinion. it is a discussion forum for crying out loud. it depends on what you want from your fish. If you want a fish with a hump or other masculine features, this is probably not the fish for you. especially if your space is limited and you can only keep one or two. on the other hand, this fish has almost all the other good qualities that are not mentioned above and is a very decent female( if it is). it all depends on your personal desires form your fish.
