its deff a channel cause look at the anal fin, its rounded. a blue cat has a straight anal fin. and it does have some blac dots

No, they are called blue channel cats around here and in other areas, probably same cat, still called a blue channel cat. See the links I posted? They are listed as "blue channel catfish" on planet catfish under the correct species. It's a common name. The local cabela's where I live and friends from several states in the midwest all know them as blue channel cats, very different from normal channel cats. Had them at the LFS too, for a while. Blue channels they called them, and everyone knew what they were if they'd ever fished.

No, the link you post, these blue channel catfish are NOT channel catfish but a blue catfish which obviously different from these channel catfish. A blue channel catfish is just given a name by a LFS since we also have albino channel catfish. You can look at the anal fin and tell me that's not channel catfish.
