hi there . pic 3,4,5,6,8 are called berrly rouge in my country , its very common and they grow this fish to eat . it can large like 40cm in 6 months

I think you have misidentified the fish as something familiar to you.
The only fish that has the capability to growing 40cm (~15") in OP's photos is #7 - Fossorochromis rostratus

you don't deserve any of those fish if you don't even know what kind of cichlids they are. the big dark striped one with the bump on its head is the male convict cichlid. you're lucky you have a few males in the same tank. that usually always never works with that size of a tank unless if they were raised young. the striped one with red on it is a female convict cichlid. the convict cichlid is a central american cichlid. the rest are various african cichlids such as electric yellow, albino zebra, and various peacock cichlids.

 that was mean!! if that was truue i would be an undeserving fish keeper! and no new fish could ever be kept:eek: i dont thing thats right.:grinno:

i bought all the fish from someone who had sold there tank and the new owner did not want them,

they would have all been either killed or sent to the local fish shop.

thanks very much to everyone who has helped with idetifying the fish its very very good of you all

:drool::drool: True Monster Cons! I dont really understand how 3 males are living with each other peacefully with just a single female around. Whats the size of those cons?
Everytim I think of removing my cons(12cm), but when i see such monsters here, i get inspiration and want to carry out with them.
