Hey everyone,
I was sold this cichlid as a green texas but i don't this is right. Could someone please properly help ID this fish? I think it maybe a hybrid of some kind.

This looks like one of the so called “Red Texas” hybrids that Petsmart sells. Many of them look a lot like this. Regardless, it’s definitely a hybrid.

I agree, the pictured fish looks like a Petsmart Red Texas. This is a pic of my Petsmart special. Other than the color difference, they are very similar.
