JD- females generally have a lot of blue on their gill plate and don't have much spangling along the body
Cons- females have red bellies
To sex the africans your going to probably have to ask in the african section.
I'm not sure how to sex polys either, you'll have to ask in the poly section.

for JD like others have said blue bearding on gill plate, for GTs males will have more metallic sheen to side scales and will have nice designs within the dorsal fin and some blue spangling on face/gill plates, while females wont have this design within dorsal and will have blue bearding on gill plate and green side color wont be irridescent, with africans you will have to ask in african section as some can be told by subtle color differences while some have to be vented, like already said with convicts, females will have orange/red on their sides, and with polys what i was told was to look at their anal fins and if it is very wide and the base then its male and females will very thin anal fins
