I dont know much about them but I saw some in a store and I like their look,are they very aggressive or can they be kept with other predatory characins.Oh yeah,and are these the ones that are also called the Brandtii?Thanks for any help.

i gonna guess its a baby gold spilo aka piraya....
u can shoal the pirayas but not any rhom species....
and ur other fish would survive until the piranha decides he is king of tank![]()

^ thats a crock. i've had 8 rbp 2 golden spilo 2 tiger oscars 2 common plecos a jack dempsey 2 jewel cichlids and a jaguar cichlid in a 300g. i never had a problem with any of them. just fed them regularly and did normal water changes. and i got them all when they were an inch. and when some of them got 3" i put a small common snapping turtle in with them. just feed them wellDankzville;3340953; said:u cant keep any piraanha with any other fish lol
