Can there ever be too much filtration?

There's no such thing as too much filtration, but too much current... yes, depending on what species you're keeping.

My rbp love the current, great excercise....Currently, I have a FilStar xP3 an xP4 on it....During the day, I turn on the AC901 powerhead for them to excercise too...I have a DIY wet/dry in the making for the tank....When it comes to filtration, biological filtration is what I focus on....I do 25% water changes every other day now just because I have the time, so this takes care of most of the sediment that may be laying around......
