can these be kept in a 55 gallon?

In answer to all your questions, 1st of all I think it would be ok in your 20 for 3-6 months. They are currently eating ground up flakes, and I've started to power feed them for growth. The fish in my avatar is a catfish, in which a Red Snakehead bit in half........I would probably give you 2 GT's in case one did make it, but you have to figure that these are the four final surviovors of an original several hundred so they have to be tough cookies....

oh right that sounds good, i have to go shopping for school and stuff saturday, but maybe tomorrow or sunday i can get a ride to your house to get them?

I have a friend of mine that has a L.A in a 90g along with 5 other fish that are a lot larger. The only problem that he's had was about 18 months ago the LA was under 6" and it attacked and ate the eyes of his 14" albino channel cat. To this day the fish live together without any issues. The LA is now 8-9" and the channel cat is about 22". He has never had any other problems with the LA and his other fish, 12" pleco, (2) 10"+ oscars (albino & red tiger)and an 18" TSN.

thanks but im not going to get one now, i dont want something that will kill my cichlids since they are my favorite fish and i dont have a big enough tank for a full grown one yet. once i get a bigger tank i might consider getting another one.

ok i will ask my dad if he isnt doing anything. ill pm you tomorrow and tell you whether or not i can come and get them. thanks
