Can they hold their own with a jag ?

I just got my first Jag last night...and after 28 hours watching this fish in a large tank with about 15 6-12 inch Vieja...I would tell you no. This Jag is 6-7 inches, he's very territorial, opportunistic, and not well suited to "community". There's no way I could put him in my 125 with other fish.
