Can this be fixed??? Hairline crack on bulkhead hole on a external overflow. I am wonder if I get some reef safe silicone top and bottom if that will do the trick or if i am better of replacing the bottom of the external overflow I am going to be getting some expensive fish and dont want to worry about leaks in the future the bottom of the overflow box has already had some work done to it by previous owner.

Of cource I have no clue how to replace it but I figure if I did I would use thicker acrylic for the bottom.

Previous owner applied this epoxy like material. How do I remove it so I can lay flush the new piece of acrylic its hard as a rock. Also will I have to UP the size of the whole when I redril looks like a 4 inch hole saw cuts a 102 mm hole is that too close to the edge or should I step down one size smaller which will still be larger then the hole I have now.

2" SCH 80 TxT Bulkhead Dimensions
A - 103mm/4.05"
B - 81mm/ 3.18"

The crack that is visible on the underside extends all the way to the inside wall on the left. The section that is reinforced is not leaking but since the crack runs underneath it should I also put a peice of acrylic on the outside of the overflow box so the crack is sealed both top and bottom or am I over thinking it since the reinforced section isnt leaking its fine and already sealed.

So I decided to replace the entire bottom to make it future proof. I got a jig saw and will cut off the bottom peice of 1/4 acryic and replace it with 1/2 so its less likley to crack from a over tightened bulkhead
