I had 42 Gallon tank. In the tank there are 3 BGK, 3 Clown Loach, 3 Discus, 2 Red Malaysian Mahseer (still baby), 5 Guppy, 2 Yellow tetra and 1 featherfin squeaker and 4 tiger barb..can this fish get along? I just get to know that tiger barb is fin-nipper..how long they can get along? it is because i'm not at my home for a few days..please help..

You have much bigger problems than tiger barbs fin nipping... You realize 1 BGK will outgrow your tank? And more than 1 will very likely fight to the death when they get older?
You also need to keep both the tiger barbs and clown loaches in groups of at least 6, ideally more. The loaches are social and need to be in a group, and tiger barbs actually have their fin nipping reputation because they do that when kept in too small of a group.
So, basically, you are severely over stocked, and you either need to get rid of some fish or upgrade your tank. If say 125 gallon minimum, and 2/3 ghost knives need to go.

Which yellow tetra do you have? Pics or scientific names please. I assume that if this is one of the smaller species, I would not be surprised if both guppies and tetras will be eaten by your BGKs. No BGK should be housed in less than a 75g and no two BGKs should be housed together especially if you do not have sufficient space for two.

If by featherfin squeaker, you mean Synodontis eupterus, then you have another problem. This catfish grows to 8-10 inches max and are very boisterous. The adults tend to be territorial and can potentially eat their smaller tankmates. They prefer meaty foods after all.

The mahseer needs to go as well.

You cannot combine tiger barbs and clown loaches together with discus. Both fish are boisterous and can frighten your discus. This only adds up stress to your discus and they are extremely sensitive. Your discus must be separated from all your other fish.

Only the clown loaches and tiger barbs can get along well. Female guppies possibly can but male fancy guppies cannot especially with tiger barbs around. Your clown loaches though will eventually outgrow the current tank. I'd just replace them with much smaller species such as Botia striata or Botia kubotai if you are really interested in loaches.

i have 11 tiger barbs and 2 discus in a 90 gL. have been together for about 5 months. =) they did stress the ***** out of my old 6 inch angeLs r.i.p. =X

Keep the Discus, Featherfin Cat, and Tiger barbs, add 10 more tiger barbs (when they school they are brilliant) drop the rest.

the tetra just the small species, i cant provide the pics for this moment..but i cant removed the fish because i not at my home for this few days..so how many days the fish will survived?

Discus and tiger barbs are still a wrong mix. The tank is too small for discus anyway and I would absolutely NOT keep three discus only, not unless two of them pair off and begin to bully the third. Really, discus are special and should NOT be combined recklessly with anything else incompatible.
