can this heal?

wow that sucks! it doesnt effect mine at all either but i would like it to heal so he looks better.
do you think if i move him to my 250 it will heal a little better and faster?

well how much longer will it take? its allready been like two months

One of my Oscars looked just like that when I bought him from my LFS at about 2". he was the only albino/lutino in a tank of tigers and was getting beat up badly. Anyway to cut a long story short, to look at him now a few months later you would never know it had happened. So keep your water good and feed him well and I bet he'll be ok. Here's my guy all healed up.

arrange a hospital tank for him where he wont be bothered
good water and melafix works wonders on torn fins

he'll be fine... relax

No, I've never been able to get any cichlid out on a leash to walk immediately behind me or beside me. ;)

Oh, you meant "heal"? Yes, it should heal as long as nothing is chewed past the base of the fin or tail.
