Can this make tank of the month?

Love the OP's tank. Only suggetion would be to move two of the wood pieces closer together, so it looks more 'random', like nature. Depending on where you live, look at the earth : when you go for a walk in the woods, or on a beach, trails, etc. Usually there are a few stones/rocks/pebbles that stand out from the rest of the surroundings. I think you are 'spot on' with your choice of rocks. Imao, I think the other ppl might feel it is 'distracting' their eye, from your fish. Like they notice the rock first, then fish second. It's a nice peice of living art work you've made there! :headbang2

Love jcardona1's tank! Wtk, are those all 'real' wood peices? Can't 'find' stuff like that here. I cheated and started with a fake root peiece, and put some of my real wood and plants over it! (SHhhh...don't tell any one!) :)

looks good, hide the heater/filters and clear up the water. then take a picture with no lights on except the tank lights and maybe from a more frontal view. but i do like the aquascaping alot and it looks very clean(natural).

Nice tank. I agree, hide the heaters, etc. That has been my biggest challenge over the years. Good luck.

My goal is to have my wife like my tanks. They would never win any contests here, but we love them.

Thanks for your comments guys. it definitely doesnt compare to the discuss tank here but i like it. the heaters are almost impossible to hide unless i get a huge sump but Im constantly putting plants and moving the smaller rocks . the wood stays in place but ill think of how it can look better
