if i overstock my tank with Male midevils ? like for a 55G i add 6-7 midevils or 3-4
i seen this online and on youtube and im just wondering if it could work . the tanks i seen had no hiding spots so the fish couldn't claim a territory to defend, so maybe thats something to consider

1 midas/devil needs a 75 gallon alone when full grown so yeah it may work for a bit but as they grow your probably gonna have some serious problems. really not a very good idea. im glad you asked here cause guys will give you straight answers as youtube isnt always right.

As long as you filter them well, and willing to change water every other day, it will work.
They will be stunt when reaching about a certain size if kept in 55g permanently.
I also found that they tend to be less aggressive when theres no hiding spot, except for flowerhorn.

Not a very good idea. No matter how much filtration and water changes... just not cool IMO. Bad for the fish and not gonna be enjoyable for you either. You might see this in a LFS, but they are selling them... their turn over is very high. Long term this will not work out as this fish gets up to 15" long... one would not fit let alone more than that. Sorry.

Bad idea! This is only good as a very temporary growout. 55 gallons are inadequate aquariums for large fish. One RD needs a 75 gallon as a minimum. They grow very fast when cared for properly. If you want to keep multiple RDs, get a very big tank. Ask the guy on you tube to show you this setup in another 6 months. See how many of those peaceful RD are still left in the 55. A lot of the videos can't be taken seriously. They can be very misleading to a person trying to learn more about fish keeping.
