While "I guess" its commendable that you would ask to get others opinions, this is such a NO BRAINER that I wonder if youre just trolling. 6-7 12+ inch fish in a 55 gallon tank...ARE YOU KIDDING? And as usual, theres a response by someone that shouldnt even be answering the question saying it will work .

I swear, this place is getting stupider and stupider and its getting harder and harder to tell the trolls from the 10 yr olds from the mentally challenged from the hobbyists.

Take, for instance, some of the more recent threads. People asking how to solve their problems (which is usually ALWAYS because of overstocking), being told to reduce their stock, so they do it. Then, a week later, they post a new thread asking if the new 10" festae or pike or jag or whatever will work with their current inhabitants. RIGHT AFTER they removed their other fish to solve their problems.

This forum is getting littered by threads of repetitive, stupid asinine questions that could be easily answered with common sense, a simple search and a little work.

I dont understand how it can be so hard to apply deductive reasoning to a situation before posting.

OP, NO, this wont work, AT ALL.

I defiantly agrees with Gruff master, VRWC, and AcsMikeFool.

I love when people say "well as long as the water is clean". Really? SO I can keep a jack dempsey in a 20L if all paramters are in check it's ok. What happened to giving fish room to swim and thrive. You should never put your fish in a long term situations where it could suffer. They are living things. You should go for a size tank that your fish will do well in.

It seems like people talk like clean water is the ONLY thing fish need. I like to think they benefit from a large tank also.

To the OP try something smaller like a pair of one of the following: cons, cutteri, salvini, blue acaras, sajica, etc. Something that won't get bigger than 8in and I think you will find that you will have happier fish.

Basing a fish care decision on what some moron does on youtube is hardly a good idea. I've seen people on youtube do all sorts of idiotic things with their fish. Pacus in 10g tanks, Arowana in 30g tanks, feeding mice to Arowana, the list goes on and on.

i have a 14 inch male red devil thats in a 110 and hes still getting bigger ill post a pic, that combo wont work over time especially with all males, males are way larger then females
I wouldnt want him in a 55 and thats just him, I'd feel bad,
this is a very bad idea and should be copied, thats not the best idea to go off of
youll have nothing but problems, the pics were taken tonightView attachment 700245Picture 251.jpg

IF YOU DO THIS UR DUMB. HOW COULD YOU EVEN ASK A QUESTION LIKE THIS. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF WE TOOK YOU AND 5 0R 6 OTHER PEOPLE AND PUT YOU IN A LITTLE CLOWN CAR OR SOMETHING SMALL ENOUGH FOR LIFE WOULDNT BE FUN WOULDNT BEABLE TO MOVE AND ALL YOU GUYSWOULD FIGHT FOR FOOD AND SPACE LIKE THEY WOULD DONT DO WHAT OTHER DO IF SOMEONE SAID LETS GOT JUMP OFF A TALL BUILDING WOULD YOU. COME ONE

okay idiot , i simply asked if it could work and if you read my last post it clearly stated that i would not try this out . it also said that i seen it on youtube which is why i asked the question. i don't need people who get emotional over a question to comment on my post , what would you do if i had these fish already ?? i've been keeping fish for 5 years i asked this question for advice, you writing in caps and trying to compare me to a fish doesn't give me advice or help me become a better person for my fish.

Thanks,
