Can u help me find out what is wrong with my oscar he is floating in one position at the top of the tank and he will hide at the bottom of the tank when i cone near his tank or not move at all. He is not acting very normal.

How long have you had him? What size tank? Tankmates? Def. need more info. I'd start off by checking basics, such as, water temp and quality. How often do you do partials? Answer these questions and maybe can help you out.

He is in a 33 gallon i have had him for 1 year and i just lately did a quarter tank change and the PH and ammonia levels are normal. His under belly is yellow (albino oscar). And a tank mate is a pucostomus.

i have no idea it all u girl friend (puffer girl)

Thirty-three gal if not to small now, eventually will be. My oscars are very active and need lots of room to move around. I have one in a 55 gal. Oscars are also very messy eaters so you need to do partials on a regular basis. This does not just mean taking water out. The gravel needs siphoned regularly.
