in my opinon, only lucius and pleuro can mix with some preditory fishes like gars, polys, africa aro... there are 3 pleuro, 1 florida gar, 1 delhezi, 1 endli, 2 silver aro, 3 indo dat in my tank, and they live with each other in peace. i've followed them about 3 month and i'm sure about it.
can u mix snakeheads in with your preditory fish??

my pleuros 're just about 10-12", and they're growing very slowly now, I keep a group of 3 pleuros when they were about 6"
Yeah, as DC said, maturity isn't quite there before 18+, time at which you are very likely to face a carnage.
and the pleuros 's max size is 16inches = 40cm if i remember right
