can u put wild fish in your aquarium?

i would guess u'll have to study all the regulations first, and dont release em( cuz u r a MFKEEPER, NOT a MFReleaser) :)
 
yeah i go streams alot and keep alot of my catches
but when i get board withem i sell em or give em away i dont throw em back
cause
1 theyll probebly die
2 its illegal to release aquarium fish
3 it messes up the ecosystem
 
Lungfish are protected from being fished under the QLD Fisheries Act 1994, are vulnerable and listed as a nationally threatened species, and are on the CITES Appendix II, so you can't remove them from the wild whatsoever. I'm pretty sure you can't remove turtles from the wild legally. The others would probably have minimum sizes and bag limits.
 
Beyond what was said already, do not forget to "desinfect" the wild fish prior to putting them in your tank. Put them in a separate container and treat them for parasites. At least for a week...
