Can we figure out a way to stop certain members spamming posts?

Pole - I think what is happening is you're new, young (guessing) and excited about fish keeping. This site can be a bit overwhelming at first. There are a LOT of VERY experienced members here who tend to lean away from certain tones when addressing others. Sometimes posting often without saying much tends to rub people the wrong way. You'll quickly see there are certain members who love to talk and post - which is exactly what the lounge area is for. However, similar approaches in the technical thread about fish/fish related things tends to be shyed away from.

Hope the helps explain it a little better for you.

Well said Matt.

Gotta give point for enthusiasm, nearly 50 posts per day average is certainly impressive! Mind you I don't think I've seen one that is more than two lines long...

Pole, just remember there's an edit button, no need for several posts in a row only minutes apart. ;)

the thing is it doesn't let me save edits tho, which is rather annoying

Dang..... I wish I had stumbled across this thread sooner. I would have stirred the pot a little.

I am another Mr Bigglesworth fan. I wish he would come back. I enjoyed getting aggrivated by him.

x2 agreed....Pole, with all of the different personalities on one forum it's just like that sometimes. I wasn't calling you a troll just a little inside joking about a few members that were banned....and as long as your following the rules you have nothing to worry about.

umm..can we close this thread? it was made basically to try and single me out...gotta say im flattered that a seven page thread was made all about me..
