can you aclimate pond koi to tropical tank?

The koi should be fine, you already know there is no need to heat the tank so your main concern should be adequate filtration.

I believe they may have a shortened life span living in warmer waters like that only because their metabolism will be faster. Other than that, they'll be perfectly healthy and fine.

As everyone else has stated, they will do just fine just be prepared for the bio load they create. I have been rasing koi for years indoors and they are messy.

My general experience seems to back that up but the difference is only a few years. On average colour and pattern stay better over time however when the koi can also enjoy regular cooler periods

Just make sure the oxygen level is enough. Warmer water carries less oxygen than cooler water.
