Can you breed

I had a con breed with a different species of cichlid (unknown species) and now one of those babies had babies with a pure con (see my sig). It might work.

Funny you say that because in madison I read that that actually happened. The female was the great dane. I never found out how they turned out but that is the exact pair that was in the article...never say never
 
I imagine it was done through artificial insemination of a female dane with the sperm of a male chihuaha. With science, yes most things can be done. They crossed two totally unrelated species of rodent in a lab in china too :p.

So a 10" male jack dempsey could not breed with a 5" female convict?

Actually it happened in someones house while they were dog sitting...very ironic

I would assume the female was laying down ha ha or else the male has very very determined
