Why would you want to? They're hideous...

Really ugly fishs... or not.

I don't see how anyone (who likes fish) can think those are ugly. I have seen ugly oscars before though, typically they are ones that are ill kept. Full of HITH, crooked mouths etc.

Yeah, I still think they're hideous... =/... They're kind'a like a bigger, meaner looking version of a goldfish.. there are much better fish out there, but that's my opinion.

what they look nothing like a goldfish to me and i like ugly fish lol thats why i have oscars and BP's

IMO oscars have a very unique look, unlike just about any other cichlid really. I don't see how someone could confuse them with goldfish but I know people are always asking if my Midas is a goldfish. I find it insulting, not because I dislike goldfish (I don't) but because I take great pride in my Midas and don't see how anyone could confuse the two.

Well, another thing is they're so overstocked at LFS, LPS.. most people don't even know how to care for 'em.. and just buy 'em because they look cool.. and can eat feeder fish.. not realizing that they need a pretty big tank at full size.. If you have less than a 55 gallon for 1.. I suggest you not get one.
