Fish is fish, as long as it's not a poisonous you could eat it. Take that back. I've had poisonous puffer fish (ocean) here but our cook knew hot to prep it to make it edible. Makes good fish soup

Piranha are supposed to be great pan-fried. I imagine most of our pet fish would taste alright considering the amount of control we have over their diet. I personally just don't like the taste of fish.
