Can you extend filter entry tubes?

I've never had a clogged HOB. Keep up with maintenance and you'll be fine.

I put too much filter fiber in and it soaked up water like a sponge and then leaked over the edges, slowly but surely, wnough to drain bout a third of my tank in a couple hours.

just put a pipe on the tube and your done

In my Rena XP3, I just attached a clear plastic tube to the intake.
