can you give dogfood to pirahnas???

i read on the forum that some people give dogfood to there fish.
now my question is can i do to with my pirahnas???????

any fish can grow if fed right lol.My brother feeds his minnows,beefheart,cichlid sticks,at times dog food.

You can feed your p's anything, but make sure its not all the time. I wouldn't because there is so much more nutritious foods out there for fish rather then dog food. Go to the market in the fish section and get anytype of seafood thats fresh, wether it be fish, shrimp,cockle,scallops etc. these types of foods are the best for them. every now and then maybe feed them some beef heart or maybe a pinkie mouse or two, but make sure you space it out becuse it takes p's a while to digest mammal meat.

20 some years ago when I was young I used to feed my rbp group diamond dog food bout once a week along with feeders & nightcrawlers for several years. Dog food is greasy & can foul water quickly. I prefer shrimp, krill, silversides, tilapia fillets, nightcrawlers, couple kinds of pellets, & feeders these days. Variety is best whatever it may be.
