I wanna have some small predatory/carnivorous fish that wouldn't get past 6 inches at most. Any predators under 6 inches, but I don't know where to start nor what to choose. So I'd appreciate if you guys can recommend me some, especially those that are easy to find in the hobby.

I think we need more infomration, like tank size, tankmates, water parameters or continent. There are just to many fiah to choose from.

Just to give a name, dwarf crenis are little beasts

The tank is 36 inches in length, 18 inches in width and 18 inches in height. Currently empty of any fish. I'm in South East Asia, and I'm fine with fish from any continent.

Hello; Many small fish are predators if they feed on live prey. May be only tiny or small critters, insects and such. I suspect you want something which hunts other fish or is opportunistic and will take them if handy.
I sometimes have fish for dinner. Pretty much all small fish will take bits of fish flesh if I cut t up.

The tetras are called "toothed" if my memory serves. But I do not get the impression you are thinking of such.

Do you actually want predators or something aggressive which is smallish?

I want predators. Doesn't matter if aggressive or not.

A bit larger than 6 inches, but red wolf fish is a good option for that size tank. Perfect mini predator with a great feeding response. As long as you don’t have any holes for it to jump they are very hardy fish that will eat anything.
I’d hesitate to do exodons in that small of a tank. To do a large enough tank I wouldn’t do it in less than a 4 foot system.
Since you’re in SE Asia, have you thought of smaller snakeheads?

Yeah, I already have a channa gachua, but it has its own tank.
