I'm looking to upgrade air pumps in order to power several filter upgrades.
I'm currently running Coral Life luft pumps but rather then buy several more I'd like to just upgrade to one big pump.
Thinking along the lines of a pondmaster 60 pond pump. If there's something out there that's marginally better I'm open to recomendations. Not sure if a 60 is what I need or not. Anyone have 60s or 100s? How's the noise level on them? Pump will be in the basement so I can deal with a little noise. Wondering if a 100 would be overkill? Don't really want to waste power as I'm already at $300/mo in electric/gas. The 100 is double the electrical consumption so unless I can use it all I think I might be better off with the 60. Afterall total gallonage will be below 3K, but reactors do need a significant amount of air.
I currently have 8 tanks running. I'd like to be able to power several of them with this pump. The biggest is 750, smallest is 75.
Been down the blower road. Not intrested in doing that again.
Thanks guys.....
