At 3 1/2 inches it could still turn out to be female. I have raised fish as males for months and overnight at about 3 inches the black spot on the dorsal shows up.

Kamfa malau. Kamfa mixed with zz it has turned out real nice it will get a lot better with age but looks great already.

Thanks for the comments, he has also female sibling, about 4", but she stayed with large convicts in a full black tank for a long time so she didnt start to show color. Should I mate him with her or another fh or blood parrot?
