If it is a short body then its probably not bloated just looks like it, I could be wrong but that's my 2 cents.

sorry to disagree.

That's half FH at the least. pls look at the eye and head markings and everything else really. Even the pearls are half FH pearls. There is Tx in it I can see by the fins though. But absolutely not a pure tx at all.

How can you tell if it has texas in it? Cause chris said it was a zz and when i google zz and tx x fh the closest one is a zz.

I have the same fish in one of my tanks dude.

I know it is only a green texas cichid. Nothing more - nothing less. I bought it from a reputable breeder, and your fish looks the same as mines did.

your fish is a Carpinte yes. But it is not the same fish as the original poster. Your fish have flower at the head or flower at the eyes? Of course not. Because it is indeed a Carpinte. The OP's fish is not a Carpinte.
