well the owner of the fish shop should know, it just that the employee didnt, the employee told me that fish was given recently by a custumer who got out of the hobby and he thought it was a snakehead. i told him that doesnt look like one, the conversation ended with him saying hes going to ask the owner (who is really nice but wasnt there today).

but that goby is a giant

Jade gobie, completey freshwater will grow a few more inches to max out at about 13''.

Wow...I had about 10 of these last year between 4 and 6 inches (wild caught). I wish I knew people sought them! I can't even remember if they're in someone else's care now or if my boss put them in the freezer. They may still be around the lab somewhere...
