can you make metal safe for tank decor?

ok so i make metal sculptures, yes with plasma torches and arc welders, and was wondering if i could make them safe to put in my tanks? like i made a cutout of a "monster" fish and want to put it in my 125, so can i make them safe for my fish? thnx, i know you can put glass in a fishtank, so can you put metal in it?

^ yep. I remember a while back someone had posted pics of a tank with "something" plated bullet shells for substrate. You remember that or am I going bonkers?

I remember seeing that tank... i think he nickel plated all the shells, although i could be mistaken about the coating, but i definitely remember the bullet shells part...

I'd imagine you also want to make sure you don't leave sharp edges...I guess thats assumed? I'm new
