Can you say "Plural Pleuros!" 6 times fast!!??!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I did wonder as i put these pics up how long it would take for you to look at them! How's your friend's pleuro getting on?
Yeah, I guess it was the title name of your thread... looked and sounded "Catchy?!!" ;)

Bud's pleuros are doing really good btw. His trio actually were joined together with a couple more 'blue-eyes', now a total of five. Not to mention, an upgrade to a much more larger tank. Growth rate on them more faster now, than ever before! :)

've had a nightmare recently with my fish losing my auranti, a big thinbar and my ornate in the space of about 6 weeks and it got worse last night after a big storm caused an overnight power cut wiping out all bar 4 dats, 4 bass, 1 pleuro, the endli's and the rope.

moved the bass to the big tank after a few hours as one died very quickly and the big tank obviously holds it's temperature better so luckily i lost no fish from my main tank. bit worried about the bass being eaten but they seem ok and they're boisterous little monkeys! i just watched the 3" bass rip some bloodworm away from my 12" bocourti's mouth!

the dats and pleuro's wouldn't have lasted five mins in the big tank so had to take my chances and was gutted to wake up to find almost all my snakeheads, my eel cat and half my dats gone. fingers crossed the others will remain ok. thought my mini monster tank could turn into carnage but didn't expect it to be this way!

Wow thats really crappy maybe you should invest in a small generator.

Thats what I use here in S Florida with the hurricanes. One for the tanks and one for the house.

I don't think we've had a power cut for that long in ten years minimum so it really is a freak incident.
