thanks thats what i thought and i was trying to get them to breed but he just beat on her so bad i had to move her to another tank. in those pics she has healed up quite a bit from how bad he got her that day. and they have been together since i got them both around 2". he is around 8-9" now and she is 4-5" area
haha, title of this thread made me chuckle a bit lol, but yeah its a female and male and by the looks of it the male is in breeding dress, so he may have beat on her if she wasnt receptive to his advances...
what makes you think he is in breeding dress? and i titled the thread that way to attract attention and it worked.. plus it is kind of straight forward if you think about it lol
nice severums.They're not in breeding dress. Their body would go real dark and their underside would be bright orange.
i have her in a completely different tank right now while she heals up. the tanks are side by side so they can still see each other but cant get to each other. any advice that may help me get them to pair off so that i might no have as much fighting?
yeah thats why i thought the male looked like he might be either going into or coming out of breeding dress since he was soo dark and barely had any stripes showing, but now that i look closer i think he is just a darker sevbalton777;4200315; said:
