I recently bought a vittatus tiger fish. I made a major mistake acclimating him for only 3 mins. When it got in my main tank, suddenly he got very weak and turned upside down. So I placed him in my hospital tank. He's still alive but is still very weak. Is it possible to make him live? If so, what to do when a fish gets ph shocked? I had fish before that got ph shocked. None survived.

I've heard people say they only acclimate for temperature which makes no sense to me if you get the fish from somewhere the water is questionable.

Not much to be done but wait and dim the lights. Hope it recovers.

Hope he's okay. My nets have been getting a workout lately retrieving corpses.
