Can you still cure a fish when it got ph shocked?

Did you test the bag water pH and compare it with your tank water pH? Did the previous owner have drastically different pH than yours?
And If you didn't test for pH, why do you think it was pH shock?
Not saying it isn't, but ..........
African Tiger fish are riverine, and as with most riverine species can handle pH swings from 6-8 without a problem.
How long was it in a bag? transport?

I didn't check the ph but i checked my ammonia. Ammonia is 0. The seller only told me maybe because of ph shock. Bag was a little too big fot the fish. I also made a mistake acclimating him for less than 5 mins
