Tarps 2 and 3 in. Time to start the slow inch by inch fill at the bottom and get the creases out. Will probably only do 6 inches for now until windows are done, assuming those tarps are water tight!

And to finish off the day, first few inches of water in with no sign of leakage or seaping onto the carpet. Bottom of tarp smoothed out by my attractive asistant, and first couple of inmates thrown in as they're not tropical and don't need heaters.

Will leave it like this for about a week now to ensure there's definately no leaking then crack on with fitting the windows.

Pretty cool....hope it works w/out leaking.

Thanks, so do i. At least the conservatory is lower than the rest of the house and there's a drain in the corner under the carpet so if the worst happens it's not going to ruin to much.

Are those just your everyday, run of the mill tarps? Or are they waterproof pond liners?

They're just your run of the mill every day tarps. If they were proper liners i wouldn't be so worried about it leaking.
