Update:
Sitting mostly empty now, just enough water left in the bottom for the Pacu and they'll be going next Sunday.
Got some of the fish advertised for sale on the market place here if anyones interested, there's also a couple of Plecos and a couple of Clarius that also need to go if anyone's interested.
Is sad seeing the pond like this Must hurry and move so i can build another!

If i was going to do the same style and size again, then the main thing i'd do different would be having the windows going all the way to the bottom as I had originally planned. That would mean the glass could sit on the bottom for support rather than having to be held in a frame and the black liner sealant i have sticks liner to glass very very well, much better than the silicone is to the metal.
For something more permanent (this was only going to be here 3 years max anyway) i'd have used more than one liner too and try and find a proper blue liner rather than using the tarp for colour. blue definately looks better for this scenario than black would have imho.
the big problem really was not sealing the tank but more the window being held in place well enough to seal the tank. If i am getting you right. then I think i have figured out how i am sealing my tank. what was the black sealant that you used called?

Yep that's about it, the metal frames just added another seal which wouldn't have been needed if the windows had gone all the way to floor, and sealing to metal seems to have been the problematic bit.

It's very good stuff, i'd use it over silicone anyday. Sticks everything with a waterproof seal, non toxic and can set underwater so is fish safe, and none of the nice strong smells that silicone gives off either.
