CAN YOU UN-GLUE PVC????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
...Working on a solution that doesn't require a saw since I returned the one I was using to
my workshop. I have some scraps that might work.
Crossing my fingers...

I've heard you can seperate the attatched parts by boiling hot water?

I've never personally tried it myself tho?

GL!

I had some spare parts and picked up some new elbows.
Fixed my problem; then I did it again!!!!
I put the wrong part on and I freaked out again.
-But this time I beat the crap out of it with a hammer, soaked it in solvent, and wrenched it back and forth with pliers till it came off!
WHEW!
It doesn't look as good as the way it did b4 I glued it but it should still function.

I dont know if ide use this method for fish tank related plumbing but we used to cut the peice off, smear the inside of the pipe with glue and set it on fire for a few seconds then get a screwdriver in there and wrench it out.

I use to have this problem...now I only buy the push fits lol!
