Another idea is doing the 2260 and then a hang on the back. With my FX5 I do not have any filter pads in there, just biomax and im starting to have debris in the tank. With a HOB you can dedicate it to filter floss or other fine mechanical that you can then change easily vs a cannister that is a pain to open.
