canister filter ID?

this might sound kind of weird but i got this canister for a year now from my uncle and have been running it since i got it but i dont know what brand or model it is and it always bugged me. so any help on trying to ID it would be great. theres not markings or anything on it other than it says "made in italy" (and the usual in/out).

looks like an eheim canister to me.

the hoses in it looked like they are clamped or starting to kink(from the bending), i would try to get them out, or run them to the tank a different way. they are restricting the flow and putting more strain on the motor.

I don't think it's an Eheim. The old models all have the intake at the bottom. It wasn't until the Pro series that the in-and outflow are on top. And this isn't a pro.

Any indication on the pump or the bottom of the canister?

Not sure either, but I would certainly get those bends out of the tubing.

Its a old fluval...a real old one! I would guess its at least 15 years old...I had 2 of them back in 92....302's. I dont know what size that one is tho and if its that old but its real old non the less. Fluval for sure!

old fluval my pops had one i remember as a kid helpin him change the media on it
